‘American Idol’ who’s sold the most
When Kelly Clarkson sold 255,000 copies of All I Ever Wanted in the week that ended Sunday night, she lengthened her lead as the American Idol alumnus who has sold the most albums.
This brings her career total to 9,836,000 albums. Still, it’s probably just a matter of time until Carrie Underwood overtakes her. Underwood, the Season 4 champ, has already sold 9,408,000 albums. These two women are the only Idol alums who rank among the top 200 album sellers of the Nielsen/SoundScan era (which began in 1991).
Clarkson is #187 on the list. Underwood ranks #198. In all, eight Idol contestants have sold 1 million or more albums so far in their careers. Fifteen have sold 500,000 or more. Read more

Din ciclul ce CIRC mai vedem la (o)TV iata ca vine o faza demna de tot rasu’ sau tot plansu’ depinde cum o vedeti. Asta seara, tocmai s-a petrecut ceva la OTV : Senzational, Exclusiv! Dan Diaconescu a fost pus in tomberon de catre Tolea.(Sau macar s-a incercat).
Nu am vazut emisiunea respectiva, cap-coada, insa se pare ca este inca un circ a la Dan Diaconescu in direct si in reluare. Evident ca mie mi se pare ca este tras de par totul, si ca a fost cam regizat, dar cum nici Tolea nu le are toate acasa, sunt curios cum a decurs intreaga faza.
Si pana la urma, si daca era regizata, le-a iesit bine

- Alec Baldwin - Turned down for several roles including Sam in “Ghost”, Batman in two of the Batman movies and Andy Garcia’s role (Vincent) in the Godfather III.
- Sandra Bullock - Lost out to Julia Roberts in “Runaway Bride.”
- Nicolas Cage - Turned down for the role of John Bender in “The Breakfast Club.”
- Jim Carrey - Lost the part of Howard Hughes in “The Aviator” to Leonardo DiCaprio. Jim also lost out to Johnny Depp for “Willy Wonka” and it’s rumored he auditioned to be Ferris Bueller.
- John Cleese - Was considered for the role of Willy Wonka but he too lost out to Johnny Depp.

It’s no secret some celebrities can get a little…imaginative…with their demands. While some demands are silly, others are downright unreasonable.Whether it’s a call in advance to a luxury hotel or written into a concert rider, some celebrities aren’t afraid to make special requests for their special needs.
And boy are they special.
- Barbra Streisand - During a recent visit to London, Barbra Streisand made similar requests at two different hotels. These included rose petals in the toilet (WTF? You’re just going to pee on them anyway), peach colored toilet tissue to match her complexion, and 120 designer bath towels, also in peach.
- Christina Aguilera must have a police escort meet her at the airport and lead her limo because she refuses to deal with traffic. Backstage, she must have a jar of Flinstones Vitamins.
- Mariah Carey insists a new toilet seat and gold faucets are installed in her hotel suite before she checks in. She flies in her own personal bed linens and must have enough of a certain kind of mineral water so she and her dog can bathe in it each day. Also, when on tour Mariah’s dressing room must contain one box of bendy straws, two air purifiers, puppies and kittens (oh dear Lord), an attendant to take her used chewing gum and Cristal champagne.
