Michelle on the move?
Famed Brooklyn resident Michelle Williams may be leaving her outer-borough followers in the dust. Williams was recently overheard telling friends she was considering a move to Manhattan, now that her ex Heath Ledger, the father of her daughter Matilda, has shipped off to SoHo. “The Brooklyn brownstone is too big for just her and the baby,” a tipster said of the actress’s Cobble Hill place. Reps for Williams have not commented.
Nicole and Keith’s house on the market
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban‘s “private, yet convenient…tranquil celebrity retreat” in one of Nashville’s gated communities is on the market, the singer’s rep confirms. “They’ve found land within Nashville and they’re excited about moving into their new place,” says his spokesperson. The four-bedroom, five-bath house carries a $2.5 million price tag along with a gym, pool and spa.
Wilmer’s bachelor pad up for sale
Got an extra $2.25 million?? Wilmer Valderrama has listed his five-bedroom, five-bathroom San Fernando Valley estate on the market. “It’s on the best street in Tarzana,” his broker says. “People live there for years. This is a family neighborhood.” The 70s Show star is selling the property, which includes a guesthouse, gym, pool, spa and tennis court, because he wants a bigger place.

The estate boasts two satellite buildings to accompany the main house, which the previous owner used as a gym and screening room. It is rumored that TomKat will convert them to guest homes to house family members and Scientology “minders.”
Tom plunks down $35 mil for new house
Tom Cruise has bought a seven-bedroom Beverly Hills estate for an estimated $35 million. According to insiders, the 70-year-old home was not actually up for sale when the War of the Worlds star made his offer. The new pad will replace the Beverly Hills home Cruise has been renting for the past four years, and will house wife Katie Holmes, children Suri, Connor, and Isabella, as well as his sister and her family and his mom.
Posh and Becks find LA home
Victoria and David Beckham have finally found a “house” in LA. The multimillion dollar home is “modern, airy, very light and spacious with lots of windows,” says a source. “It still needs a bit of work inside.” The deal is nearly finalized, but the source says Victoria Beckham is due to land in LA today to sign off on the contract. “She will meet with interior designers, discuss fixtures and all aspects of the house plan before flying out shortly afterwards.” Another insider confirms the news, saying, “It is done. They’ve found the perfect property for themselves in Beverly Hills… The house they’ve chosen is big but not huge. That said, it is big enough for them as a family of five, along with additional space for family members that will visit from Britain. They needed a fair amount of extra room for visitors as [guests] will stay awhile longer than [they did during] visits to them in Spain.”
Avril and Deryck buy $10 million home
Canadian music supercouple Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley have plunked down $9.5 million for Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler’s former Bel-Air home. The eight bedroom home was the set for MTV’s Meet the Barker reality show, and boasts ten and a half bathrooms, an elevator, a steam shower, sauna, pool, spa and ten-car garage. Lavigne is selling her Beverly Hills home for $6.2 million.
