Jessica Alba Gets Baby Congrats from Costars
Jessica Alba’s costars Justin Timberlake and Mike Myers in The Love Guru showered the new mom with well-wishes Monday.
“Congratulations Jessica!” said Timberlake at a press day in L.A. for the comedy. “She seems very patient, and I would assume that’s what it takes to be a good mother, a good parent for that matter.”
Alba, 27, and her husband Cash Warren, 31, welcomed daughter Honor Marie Warren on Saturday in Los Angeles.
“Honor Marie – that’s a cool name,” Timberlake says. “I’m happy for them. It’s beautiful.”
“She’ll be a great mother,” adds Myers. “She’s smart, she’s talented and she’s one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever worked with.” Read more

According to the magazine, a friend of Alba’s had a charm bracelet made with that name engraved on it.

Jessica opens up about pregnancy
With fiancé Cash Warren by her side, Jessica Alba can’t help gushing about her impending baby joy. “It’s awesome,” she said Thursday in L.A. at Glamour magazine’s kickoff for V-Day’s 10th Anniversary. “It’s the best time ever. I have two movies coming out, a baby, a fiancé – everything.” The 26-year-old actress, who’s due in early spring or late summer, said the pregnancy has been smooth so far. But, she admitted, “I’m more tired, more hungry than normal.” Alba – who also recently announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Warren, 28, the baby’s father – also said she’s enjoying a rare break from acting. “I don’t know if anyone wants me in their movies [when I'm] six months pregnant,” she joked. “I’ll get the fire and I’ll want to work again, but right now it’s a time to relax and sit back.” For now, the actress is focused on a more personal project: “I bought a new house a couple weeks ago. I’m in nesting phase.” Later, Alba joked about her growing baby bump as she performed “My Short Skirt,” a scene from Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues. “I hope [my dress] won’t pop while I’m up here,” she said. “And if it does, you’re all women, and I think you’ll understand it. [When you're pregnant], your breasts are engorged and your stomach is getting bigger. . . . And the ass, too, that’s getting bigger by the second!”

Mom-to-be Jessica Alba was spotted over the Christmas holiday with a rock on her left ring finger – and the rumors are true: she and boyfriend Cash Warren are engaged, her rep confirms. “I can confirm that they are engaged,” said publicist Brad Cafarelli. Alba, 26, has been dating Warren, 28, since the fall of 2004, after they met on the set of her movie, The Fantastic Four, on which Warren was a director’s assistant. No shotgun wedding for Jessica
Jessica Alba is expecting a baby, but don’t expect the actress to look like it if she gets married! Us Weekly reports in its new issue that Alba, 26, and boyfriend Cash Warren, 28, who split July 22 only to reunite in late August, currently don’t have plans for a wedding. In fact, a source said, “She doesn’t want to be pregnant in a dress!” But a wedding was on Alba’s to-do list just before she broke up with Warren. “She wanted to get married, but Cash wasn’t ready,” says a source. Nuptials or not, Alba’s family is looking forward to her having a baby. “We’re all thrilled for them,” Alba’s brother Josh said.

New breakup rumors are swirling around Jessica Alba and her longtime boyfriend, Cash Warren. Sources say the Fantastic Four actress called Warren from Europe last Sunday and said, “I’m not in love with you anymore.” Hours later, Alba’s assistant reportedly headed to the LA home of the couple to pack up Warren’s belongings and move him out. The split “happened…almost out of nowhere,” said an insider. “[Warren] thinks it’s for another guy but doesn’t know… He’s totally devastated. But it was all her.” Alba’s rep has not commented.

Jessica Alba says that despite her sexpot image, she’s just a silly girl at heart. “People think of me as just a sexy girl,” the Fantastic Four actress tells InStyle mag, “but I’m really goofy - like, super goofy… I had womanly curves at a young age. Usually kid actors are a few years older than the roles they play. I was two or three years younger,” she says of her Dark Angel role. Alba also admits to a bit of a rebellious streak: “I love challenging authority. It probably wasn’t easy being my parents. The second somebody says no to me is the second I’m going to jump up and say yes.” Of the possibility of starting a family, the actress says, “I’m not the easiest person to hang with. I’m away a lot, and it’s an unconventional life. But if I could find a partner, that would be best. I probably won’t have kids without one… My parents taught me about unconditional love, because you have your ups and downs, but you stick through it. I learned a lot from that, and I know that kind of love is possible… My parents made a forever commitment, and I know that’s what I want.”

The former couple have been letting people know that they split over a week ago, with friends hinting that time and scheduling problems are to blame. Warren had intended to take Alba to the Coachella music fest for her birthday on April 28, but plans have been nixed since the pair are not on speaking terms.
