30 Ridiculous Celebrity Demands
It’s no secret some celebrities can get a little…imaginative…with their demands. While some demands are silly, others are downright unreasonable.
Whether it’s a call in advance to a luxury hotel or written into a concert rider, some celebrities aren’t afraid to make special requests for their special needs.
And boy are they special.
- Barbra Streisand - During a recent visit to London, Barbra Streisand made similar requests at two different hotels. These included rose petals in the toilet (WTF? You’re just going to pee on them anyway), peach colored toilet tissue to match her complexion, and 120 designer bath towels, also in peach.
- Christina Aguilera must have a police escort meet her at the airport and lead her limo because she refuses to deal with traffic. Backstage, she must have a jar of Flinstones Vitamins.
- Mariah Carey insists a new toilet seat and gold faucets are installed in her hotel suite before she checks in. She flies in her own personal bed linens and must have enough of a certain kind of mineral water so she and her dog can bathe in it each day. Also, when on tour Mariah’s dressing room must contain one box of bendy straws, two air purifiers, puppies and kittens (oh dear Lord), an attendant to take her used chewing gum and Cristal champagne. Jenna Welch Bush wed Henry Chase Hager Saturday – making her the first daughter of a sitting United States president to marry in 16 years.The pair exchanged vows just before sundown in a lakeside ceremony threatened by a tornado watch at President Bush’s secluded 1,600-acre Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas.
‘A Joyous Occasion’
“This is a joyous occasion for our family, as we celebrate the happy life ahead of (Jenna) and her husband, Henry,” the president said in his weekly radio broadcast Saturday morning. “It’s also a special time for Laura, who this Mother’s Day weekend will watch a young woman we raised together walk down the aisle.” Read more
Blonde joke: Cher in her worst wig ever (and that’s saying something)
There have been no shortage of contenders over the course of her 40 year career, but this time Cher has truly outdone herself with her worst wig ever.
The flamboyant singer startled the audience with course, brassy blonde tresses during an appearance at the Oprah Winfrey Show this week.
The 61-year-old, who has long rejected the option of aging gracefully, abandoned her naturally straight look in favour of unruly poodle curls for the occasion.
