CANNES, France (Reuters) - Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie said in a television interview on Wednesday that she is expecting twins with actor Brad Pitt, the Hollywood couple’s fifth and sixth children.
Jolie, being interviewed at the Cannes film festival alongside comic actor Jack Black for the syndicated entertainment program “Access Hollywood,” acknowledged that she was having twins after Black made reference to them.
“Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Jolie, 32, said, according to a transcript provided by the show. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.” Read more

Brangelina’s fast food Christmas
The Brangelina brood had a finger lickin’ good Christmas in New Orleans. Days before the holiday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, were spotted strolling hand in hand as they shopped at Harry’s Corner and Santa’s Quarter in their French Quarter neighborhood. Later, Jolie took daughter Shiloh, 19 months, on a walk around town, letting her munch on Lay’s Chips and Cracker Jacks. The actress — who has admitted, “I’m not much of a cook” – proved that point when she and Pitt (in a white Nissan minivan) went through a McDonald’s drive-thru and picked up Happy Meals for their kids on Christmas Day. The day after Christmas, the family – sans Shiloh – hit the AMC Palace Theater to take in the family flick The Water Horse. And on the way home? They hit up another fast food restaurant: KFC.
Angelina disturbed by weight scrutiny
Angelina Jolie admits she got too skinny this year but says she was bothered by all the negative scrutiny. Jolie, 32 — who says she lost weight while grieving over her mother’s passing in January — opened up in the new issue of Grazia magazine. “The thing that’s disturbing is that instead of people saying, ‘This looks like a person that’s actually dealing with something, probably from emotions,’ they say, ‘Does she fit into skinny jeans and look thin?’” Jolie said. “I want people to understand who I am as a person is not somebody that’s trying to look thin, but just trying to work through a very difficult year,” she said. Jolie said she got through her death of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, thanks to the support of her beau Brad Pitt. “He is just a great friend and when my mother passed, he was so great,” she said. “He sat with me and held [my mother’s] hand. After she passed away he spent the night asking me and my brother about our mother and got us to tell funny stories about her. “He focused on all the love and joy we were fortunate enough to have had,” Jolie said. “He was extraordinary.”
Brangelina’s weekend outing
Fresh from his do-gooding mission in New Orleans, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie joined Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale at the WBC Welterweight title fight match as American Floyd Mayweather knocked Brit Ricky Hatton out in the 10th round Saturday. The cozy couples were later spotted getting into the same limo afterwards. No doubt the pairs swapped parenting tips. After all, Stefani delivered her son Kingston in May 2006 the day before Jolie gave birth to daughter Shiloh. The couples have also shared a playdate. Pitt has been a longtime pal of Stefani: He and Jennifer Aniston attended Stefani and Rossdale’s 2003 L.A. wedding ceremony.
Brangelina to spend the holidays in New Orleans
The jet-setting Brangelina clan are spending the holidays in New Orleans. Angelina Jolie spoke to Usmagazine.com at Monday’s Hot Pink Party in New Orlean’s Lower Ninth Ward, where Brad Pitt launched his new “Make It Right” foundation. Son Maddox, 6, was also on-hand. “I’m working on a film [The Changeling in L.A.], but we’ll be back for Christmastime,” Jolie, 32, said. “We’ll be here through Christmas.” (The family bought a $3.5 million mansion in the French Quarter last January.) Though Jolie didn’t glam up in one of her usual red carpet looks, she donned a chic black trench coat, a fashion fave for the actress. When asked the age-old question if she were pregnant, Jolie’s eyes widened and she replied, “No.” During the event, Jolie chatted with locals, but cut the conversation short when Jerry Lee Lewis (”Great Balls of Fire”) took the stage. Pitt was also excited, as he snapped photos of the singing legend on his digital camera.
