Urgent health warning issued to celebs
The Los Angeles Department of Public Health has issued an urgent warning to anyone who attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue party on February 14 to advise that they may have been exposed to hepatitis A - a party for which the guest list included cover girl Beyonce as well as dozens of models including Leonardo Dicaprio’s girlfriend Bar Rafaeli. An employee of celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck - whose company catered the event - was recently diagnosed as having the disease. The LA health department is strongly urging that anyone who attended the SI party - or any other catered by Wolfgang Puck between February 1 and 20 - to get an immune globulin shot ASAP to prevent illness. A rep for Puck said guests at the Governor’s Ball Oscar party held Sunday night are not at risk.
