Seacrest discusses Angelina’s red carpet snub
Ryan Seacrest admitted his red-carpet interview with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globes Monday night was awkward, saying Jolie shouldn’t have gone to the event if she wasn’t willing to smile for the cameras. “I asked her four questions and she didn’t even answer me,” the American Idol host said on his morning radio show yesterday. “I literally stood there and tried to ask a couple of questions. At one point I just kind of let the E! microphone sit in front of her for a second to see if she was going to acknowledge it, and she clearly wanted nothing to do with me or my question or my answer or any of it… Brad was fantasic.” Seacrest’s co-host defended the Tomb Raider actress by saying, “Well, she has said that she finds all these award shows a waste of time and money,” to which Seacrest quipped, “Well then don’t go. It’s been stated that Angelina does not want to draw attention away from Brad when he is the one “in the spotlight”. She wants him to get the attention and does not want to take away from it.
I didn’t think she was trying to avoid the microphone – I just think that it was Brad’s moment and she was letting him have it.

I wouldn’t answer these stupid questions of Ryan Seacrest either. Why didn’t he asked about “Babel”, the movie Brad Pitt was nominated for instead of asking how many more children the couple would like to have??
He’s just a whiner. Grow up, and ask real questions of people if you want real answers (not…”What did you make for breakfast? Bacon and eggs?”)

Ryan Seacrest go suck a lemon!!! Who the hell are you, that Angelina needs to respond to your questions!! I swear the media think they’re GOD. They really need to get over themselves!! The woman had nothing to promote, and wanted the media to focus more on Brad, since he was the one up for an award that night.

angelina is a crazy narcissist. brad is normal. that’s why he was gracious enough to hold a conversation.
Big frigging deal Ryan! You must not like the woman to have to bring it up on your talk show. Also, before the Golden Globes, were you making not-so-nice comments about her? So why should she talk to you??
Oh please! Sure, Seacrest’s questions were dumb but if Angelina was being so gracious not wanting to take the attention away from Brad, why didn’t she just answer the questions with a smile? What has happened now is that she HAS taken the attention away from Brad’s performance in Babel by refusing to answer! No-one has written anything about Brad or Babel, but a lot has been written about Angelinas behaviour… For example, she could’ve answered “cereal” immediately instead of looking away pretending Seacrest wasn’t there. I’m pretty sure she embarrased Brad with her “I’m too good for this” behaviour, that might’ve been why some people say he looked uncomfortable. No-one’s infallible, not even Angelina.
She wasn’t being rude or avoiding his questions. Brad was answering most of them. But she seemed confused at the random, off the wall questions he was asking. like
“So tell me about Babel,” and then “what did you have for breakfast?” WTF. I think she was bored by his stupidity and at the same time letting brad have his moment.
Also, she was smiling at laughing. I didnt find it impolite or “cold” or anything
I didn’t hav ani problem wit her behaviour..all dat question ryan was askin were stupied & pointless..let dis couple b & leave dem alone….Angie was jus been angie,she was smilin & gigglin @ all da otha interviews cuz dey asked her real questions…Ryan dis ain’t american idol, plz sit down sumwhere..who even invited him??????
How can you guys not think she was being rude. If you find that behavior normal, then I can’t imagine how any of you guys get along with others in the real world. If she didn’t want to “draw attention to herself”, than why not answer the questions politely, keep the conversation going, and get over herself. Like being such a snob was REALLY gonna go unnoticed. WHATEVER. I bet Brad was totally embarassed of her. I would be too.
