Oprah to hit primetime with reality shows
December 15, 2006 · Filed Under General

Oprah Winfrey will be entering the world of primetime TV with two new reality shows. ABC has bought both shows, which incorporate the talk show queen’s humanitarian tenets. The Big Give will follow a group of ten people who are challenged to use money and resources to help others. A contestant will be voted off every week, and the winner will have their wildest dream granted. Each episode of the second show, Your Money or Your Life, will give a family in crisis a money and life makeover. It has yet to be announced whether Winfrey will host either or both shows.
