Elle puts “The Body” to use

Elle MacPherson fought off a mugger outside the Move for AIDS VIP charity event in London this week. The model and lingerie designer was on her way to the bash when a thug tried to steal her handbag, and MacPherson launched an attack on the thief using her martial arts skills. “Everyone was watching her, he didn’t stand a chance,” said witness. “As soon as he grabbed Elle’s bag she swung around quite calmly, just went for his arm and got her bag. The mugger reacted like he’d been floored, then staggered back and ran for it.”
