Still no clear answers in Anna Nicole tragedy

A celebrity pathologist who performed a second autopsy on Anna Nicole Smith’s son says the cause of the 20-year-old’s death is unclear. “It’s a simple examination,” he said. “And even though it’s the second [autopsy], it’s basically the same.” A distraught Anna Nicole ordered another autopsy to end “media speculation surrounding the matter,” according to her lawyer. The pathologist, who was a consultant in Elvis Presley’s death, does not know when an official cause of death might be determined. “It could take weeks to get a definitive and final answer to that,” added Smith’s lawyer. An inquest is scheduled to begin on October 23.
