Paris Hilton says many of her so-called friends have betrayed her by selling stories to the media. “Yes, sadly I have [been betrayed],” the Simple Life star says. “If I suspect my friends of not being honest with me I’ll test them and tell them a lie. If I read about it, then I’ll know it was them. It’s heartbreaking when I find out that a friend I trusted has deceived me. It breaks my heart. I just hate confronting people, I can’t do it. I’m too embarrassed to say something to their face, so I will just immediately cut them off and never ever speak to them again. I won’t even tell them why!”
