Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams’s father has been jailed in Australia for failing to pay his taxes in the U.S. Larry Williams was arrested at the Sydney airport on Saturday, after flying in from South Africa for a financial seminar. The U.S. had issued a warrant for the arrest of Williams – who is known as “the million dollar man” in stock market circles – for his evasion of $1.5 million in income taxes. The trading expert is also accused of creating false documents and using multiple bank accounts to evade the bill.
