CaCee isn’t after Nick

According to People.com, the reason CaCee Cobb resigned as Jessica Simpson’s assistant was not, as is being reported in the tabloids, because of her relationship with Nick Lachey. “CaCee has always been friends with both Jessica and Nick,” a source says. Lachey’s brother Drew also denies the allegations of romance between Jessica’s assistant and her ex, saying, “It’s ridiculous.” Another source said, “Her job was always intended as a stepping stone. They support each other.”
