Streep praises Lohan

Meryl Streep says Lindsay Lohan’s rumored hard-partying ways don’t interfere with her acting. The Oscar-winning actress was convinced Lohan would be perfect to play the part of her daughter in Prairie Home Companion even before meeting her. “I think I’d seen Freaky Friday maybe seven times. I have three daughters, and it’s the Lindsay Lohan fan club at my house,” Streep says. “I’m aware of the tabloid stuff because my kids tell me – but I don’t read it, and frankly, I couldn’t care less. Lindsay knew her lines better than we did. When they say ‘Action,’ Lindsay is completely, visibly living in front of the camera, and that’s all anybody really cares about.”
