Unrealistic expectations

Liv Tyler spoke out in British Cosmopolitan against celebrity mothers feeling pressure to lose baby weight at warp speed. “It’s so hard to lose your baby weight! Everyone makes it look like it just drops off and everyone in magazines is so skinny three weeks later and says, ‘Oh, I’m just running around after my kid,’” the Lord of the Rings star said. “It’s total bulls**t! I don’t know one woman who woke up three weeks later and was a rail.” Tyler refused to diet after having son Milo in December 2004.

She doesn’t look bad either. Sure she isn’t her “old self,” but she has a healthy mom glow, and every time I see a picture of her, she looks like she’s having fun. Hey, if she’s happy, I’m happy. And she’s right. I’m SO sick of hearing celebrities talk about how they didn’t do anything, the weight just FELL off. Baby pooch doesn’t just vanish magically, nor is it stolen from you in the dead of night. They all have their babies early (which certainly isn’t the healthiest for the baby–those extra three weeks in the womb are there for a REASON, you know)so they don’t stretch out that last little bit, then get their tummy tucked on the way out of the hospital. I understand stardom isn’t about reality in the least, but come on. Dont lie so blatently about your baby pooch.
