All in the name of research

To help prepare him for his part in Transamerica, Canadian actor Kevin Zegers walked the streets of Toronto in the hopes of selling his body to men. The star told Attitude magazine that he solicited a man for sex and even negotiated a price. “He started out with $200 and I said I would only do $500 because I don’t do this very often. He said the most he had was $350. I said I’d take it.” The young actor explained that his research didn’t go any further than that. “I said I was going to the bathroom, exited out the back door and ran off. It was a cool learning experience because it was much more civilized than I imagined.”
